Scott Meade
Hello,
My name is Scott Meade. My father was First Officer Earle M. Binckley who was killed in the crash of Capital Airlines Flight 67 on April 6, 1958 when I was 9 mos. old.
I am presently a B-777 Captain and Check Airman for American Airlines flying out of JFK and DFW. I am interested in getting in touch with anyone from Capital that may have known my father.
Thank you and I am enjoying your web pages.
Best regards,
Scott Meade (ne:Binckley)

Good reading. I have a silver Capital Airlines dinner knife. Don't know how or where I got it. I know I've had it in the kitchen for over 40 Years.

My mother was a stewardess for Capital circa 1953-1954, Joyce Van Auker. I am building a 1/48 scale plastic model of a DC-3 for which I have obtained a set of Capital Airlines decals. I am trying to find a photo for the color scheme of Capital DC-3 interiors, including flight deck. Can anyone help?

Thanks, Dick Morgan

I was trying to get the e-mail address for the Capital alumni site so I could post a few pictures of a memorabilia item I came across when I went through my fathers things. He may have more I have yet to come across. I don't know if you remember the small plastic Viscount replicas from the late 50's early 60's. I found three in mint condition. Thought I'd share pictures of them.

Thank you for this wonderful website! My dad Wiliam K. Wilson started flying for Capital in 1956 and retired as a Captain for United Airlines 35 years later. His last name now is Lancaster so you may have known him as Bill Wilson or Bill Lancaster and he flew out of VA Beach and Dulles. I can't wait to tell him about your website. Thanks again!

My father was PCA/Capital/United Captain Gordon R. Speer, and my step mother was a Capital hostess Patty King. I sent you an e-mail about the super 3s a couple days back. Just curious if you received it? Thank you. Richard Speer.

My dad was PCA/Capital/United Captain Frank C. Miller, and my mom was a PCA/Capital hostess. Mom's still going strong - Thanks for posting the memorabilia and crash reports; those certainly helped me understand what their lives were like back in the 1940-60's! Keep posting!
